..::Blog Award::..

I received an award!! woohoo!! Thank you Kim and Olive Juice Studios!!! Lets see the rules are: Share 7 things about yourself and pass on to 15 people. Oi! 7 things about moi...hmm this isn't going to be easy!!!

1. I am a mom of 3 boys. 15, 11, and 10 months.

2. I've begged my husband to become a polygamist so I can get some help with the cleaning and laundry...I want to scrap more!

3. I love the smell of good paper.

4. I love love love sweet tea! I drink about a gallon a day...

5. I have the worlds dumbest dog. She's very loving and sweet...but she is dumb!

6. I have recently learned that I have a very bad temper. When I get pushed too far, I react now and think later. Not always a bad thing but not always good either. (I asked my son what I should tell you all and he said "how about when you get really mad you have no sense?) (yeah, it's been a rough weekend in our neighborhood!)

7. I'm too kind hearted and have been taken advantage of more times than I ever want to count.

Now to pass this on...

Jessica (of course!)

and uhm...hmm I'll have to add to this as I go!

Thanks for the award girls!!

..::Dear God::..

This was when Tobias was about 3 or 4 months old and I was trying to get the "perfect" picture. When I seen this one I knew just what to do with it! I used some butterfly bits from the last layout and used my MS score board (OH how I love that thing!) to make the pleated circles and my dies that I got from my friend Jessica! Thank you again girlie!

Happy Friday all!

Hope you all are having a great Monday!!

~*~ Monkey Hunter ~*~ (2nd post today)

FINALLY!! My picture came!! I used the monkey pattern from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs and this paper is from a BEAUTIFUL!! stack I found at ...maybe Hobby Lobby? Its from My Minds Eye and its called Where The Heart Is. I tried to make the monkeys clothes match Tobias' the best I could! I really like this layout!

~*~ Pop Can Flutterby ~*~

OK so...maybe this has been done before and isn't new news to you all but it so is to me!! I know about a year ago someone said you could use paper punches on soda cans so I wondered if my cuttlebug would cut a soda can...and guess what?! It can!!!!! Here is the flutterby I made with a soda can/cuttlebug/alcohol inks/stickles...the ideas running my mind are endless!! And just in case you're wondering...the edges are not sharp in the least...the cuttlebug bends them over when the bug is cut! Now I must collect dies!!!

Happy Thursday!!

~*~ My Monkey Hunter ~*~

I made the cutest layout!! OK not the cutest but I gotta tell ya I'm so excited about it! BUT I can't share it yet :( I ordered the picture over a week ago and it still is NOT here grr. I'm so over Kodak...they use to have the greatest fastest shipping and now it's like...I could walk it there and back before they actually ship it. UGH!!!!'s a little peek at my layout...and the title will make sense only with the picture! I sure hope it's here tomorrow or my impatience will cause a trip to a one hour photo store!!

Happy Wednesday!!

~*~ My little card maker ~*~

Trev made "the family" a card for Valentines Day. The sweetest part of this very sweet card is that he made it while he was so sick with strep throat and kept it a secret until Valentines Day. He forgot to give it to us until today tho...his dad was sick and then with working nights and sleeping days when we finally do all get on the same page it's like an hour of fast talking and catch up! Isn't it so cute? I LOVE it. Brent also made me a card for Valentines Day. I think it helped him see how hard I work on scrapbooking. He defenitly has a new interest in it... I framed it in PSP so it would be easier to see...I hope!

Happy Tuesday!!

~*~ My Shining Star ~*~

Not sure I'm loving the way the word star turned out. They were white foam stickers and I sprayed them with Metallic alcohol inks...I think I might change it to yellow. Tyler made his first non jewelry piece of clay work and I took his picture with him. Can you believe it only took him about an hour to make?! On this day his dad worked with him. That's a whole nother layout! I also used the little fabric heart left over bit from Tobias' onsie!

.::Happy Heart Day!!::..

..::Tobias' Valentine Onesie::..

Woohoo!! I finally cut fabric with my cricut!! Being as tomorrow is Tobias' first Valentines Day I wanted him to have a special shirt to wear and I never found one I liked in stores. I wanted to get to Target but it just wasn't in the cards. Brent has the same strep throat/horrible fever that Trev had! UGH!! So anyway...I decided to try and make him one. Not bad for my first attempt! After Tomorrow I might try sewing on it a bit.

Happy Heart Day~

..::Valentine Card::..

I seen these last year and thought I'd try one this year! Just two hearts welded together and some odd and end things. Fast easy and weird! So not my style but it was fun!

..::My Super Artistic Husband::..

Tyler found a folder of drawings his dad did about 14 years ago. I thought all of this was lost and since Brent lost interest in drawing, his sons would never know just HOW good he was at it...Today we all stared in awe as we went through this folder of the most spectacular drawings we ever seen...I am ordering the boys prints of some of these to frame and hang in their rooms. I am so blessed with all these boys...and so blessed to have these to look at once again!!

~*~ Owl Card ~*~

Dustin Pike has a request on his blog today for cards for a 10 year old girl with cancer. Of course I am sending her a card...I can not imagine going through this as a mother myself. Heartbreaking to say the least. Click on his name in this post if you would like to send her one as well!

Here is the card I made her. I welded the owl together in DS to make the card. Now just to find something to put inside...

..:: Valentine Card::..

I love this little skunk designed by Tricia Moore and available from If you get a chance go to Trisha's blog and check out her work. I love it!!! I will be posting some more stuff using her patterns in the next couple of days. I feel like I'm stalking her but honestly...she does amazing work! - ok rant off! I hope I didn't sound like an infomercial!

I had to use this skunk in a Valentine card! The inside says From 3 lil' stinkers. It's for my mom from the boys ;-)

..:: My Creative Genius::..

Trev has been sick the past week and sleeping almost all the time. He started a different antibiotic today and I have to watch and make sure he doesn't have a reaction to it so I'm trying very hard to keep him awake and busy for a bit to monitor him.

I've asked for a long time for him to "help" me scrap but he won't do it. He has problems creatively and I shared with him today that I do too. (my oldest son and their dad are so very artistic it's intimidating to him I think) So he gave in and guess what?! HE LOVED IT!! He said "that was actually really fun" and he did a fab job if I must say so! Buttons and brads and he even inked his bits! and he put little robot arms on the frame!! I'm so proud of him!!

..::Sharing A Funny::..

For some reason I decided to check my profile..

I bet I'm older than all of you. Waaaaaaay older even.

According to my blogger profile...I am 1,934 years old! Now don't be asking me for the secret to staying young (or alive for that matter) for so very long, at One thousand thirty four years you can not expect a girl to have the memory she once did!

I thought it was hilarious and had to share. I don't think I'll change it...I think it looks good on me ;)

Now for some creating!!
