:: A couple of Christmas items ::

My little one is crazy about The Polar Express. I wanted their Santa plate to tie into the movie so I went with a jingle bell. I also didn't care for such a flat bow so I opted to use a ribbon bow. The ornament I made for my mom for Christmas.

~~ What I've been up to~~

I have ALWAYS wanted to make quilts. I've tried numerous times and just never really got the hang of it. Then I found rag quilts. I've made 3 so far. I love making them!! I made the Santa one first and then I decided to make all the boys one for Christmas. The Pooh one is for my baby, the purple one was for my mom's bday - she LOVES purple and then I've still got 3 more to make! and then 1 for my nephew and 1 for my Mr. - I wonder if I can make all that happen before Christmas? Here are the ones I've made so far - oh and a stocking I made! It was too thin for practical Santa purposes so I've decided to add Santa's name and hang it on the tree for letters to Santa!

~~ Plexiglass sign~~

Last year I made a cute sign with the same saying - out of paper. I loved it but it is paper and won't last forever. This year I decided to use vinyl and plexiglass. I like this one much better! I love fall and will hopefully have much more to share soon!

..::Rain Boots::..

I decided to decorate a pair of boots I was going to turn into a flower planter - now I'm not sure if I want to do that or save them for Tobias! I think they turned out cute. The frog is a pattern from www.myscrapchick.com and it's the Rainy Frog I believe is his name. He's so cute! I used oracal 651 vinyl. I am debating taking the Puddle Jumper off and doing it in the same blue that's on the umbrella...it's a little hard to see.

Anniversary card and birthday card

I'm pretty pleased with these - they seem kind of plain because they are "boy" cards but I did the best  I could last minute because well ...I just can't do anything unless I stress myself out with time first lol!

The little boy and girl card was made with a digi stamp - when I get back to my other puter I'll post a link to where it came from...and the truck is a stampin' up! stamp from the Countryside set. I LOVE it! I will be making a few more cards with this stamp in the very near future - like the day before father's day lol!

Hope all is going well and everyone has a great summer!
