One of the things I love about living in our own home is the discovery of so many things in our own backyard! Every year we get a writing spider on the deck and this year is no exception! A writing spider eats her mate AND remakes her web every night. The old wives tale is if your initials appear in the web you`re going to die. Personally I think I`m going to hire her out for sewing on scrap layouts because she makes a fine zigzag stitch!

ReplyDeleteI agree with Dawn, you do have a wonderful blog! I don't like spiders, but I love watching them work! I have a pic of one on a rock up in Maine where I used to go to 'camp'. It's huge! The rest of the group wanted to kill it, but I wouldn't let them. She was just sunning herself!
