..::MIA for a bit::..

We all have a horrible cold and now Tobias has it. Poor thing. He's still nursing good so that gives me hope! He's 5 months old and has never been sick before! He went to the dr today and weighs almost 16 lbs!! Hooray!! ~~ at any rate...I will not be around the online world for a few more days. I haven't had a chance to visit any blogs so I will have a ton of catching up to do! Hope everyone stays flu free!

..Halloween Mini Album change!..

I have learned just recently that my husbands sensory issues can be an OK thing! I sent him to Michael's paper sale and told him I wanted holiday themed paper. He brought home some uh...ok paper. The Halloween paper was out of this world!!!!!!!! It's flocked and oh so velvety! It's made by K&Company and it's simply called Halloween Bats Flocked Paper. So I wanted to use some right away and decided to change out my album cover. Again the coloring is off the purple is a bit darker as are the bats. The purple also has a bit of a muted shimmer about it. I love it! I will defenitly send him after paper again! He's fabulous at it!

..::5 months, teeth, and a punkin::..

How precious are these pictures? My baby got his first tooth this week, turned 5 months old and got his first pumpkin! Fitting since from time to time he's "mommy's little punkin butt"...

..::My Dandelion::..

So...I went outside to check on the boys who were cleaning off the sidewalks after mowing. Trev was playing with a flower but I just glanced at it and never thought twice about it. A few minutes later he said "I picked you a flower." I said oh how cute to myself and just when I was about to look up I hear "it's a dandelion" and I see what is a daisy from my flowers. I shall cherish my dandelion! Crappy picture but I have so much to get done today time is so limited!

UGH!! The Spongebob cuts are so tedious. I refuse to try and piece his stupid socks anymore! He has stickled socks and that's that!

..::Miss Spider::..

One of the things I love about living in our own home is the discovery of so many things in our own backyard! Every year we get a writing spider on the deck and this year is no exception! A writing spider eats her mate AND remakes her web every night. The old wives tale is if your initials appear in the web you`re going to die. Personally I think I`m going to hire her out for sewing on scrap layouts because she makes a fine zigzag stitch!

..::My newest mini album::..

I am so proud of this one! I designed and cut in Design Studio. Each page is made from chipboard so it will last. I am using this one for Tobias' first Halloween and it will be titled "My Little Pumpkin"...I have not decorated it yet but I couldn't wait to share! I will update when I finish it.

..::Halloween Mini Album::..

I think I'm going to use this for Tobias' first Halloween pictures. I haven't decided yet, as I'm working on another one! I love Halloween! This needs just a few finishing touches, cob webs and the like. I tried to recreate our pumpkin man so that I can take a picture of Tobias with his first pumpkin man! I didn't do him justice tho. The word Boo! is actually very glittery like, but for some reason you can't see it well. For page tabs I've used 2009 and a pumpkin. I of course need to make friends with the dang ink pads...I am so messy with it! But if you think it's messy in the book you should see my arms!!!

Those who know me know I love Monkeys!!! I am dying to create my own cutie patooties monkey in Design Studio. This is what I've been working on. She needs a lot of work but so far...I find her just as loveable as I will when she's a true blue perfect monkey! Here is what I have so far...

He is in love with this little saucer thingy. Even when he's not in it he's looking at it. Today I sat him in it by the window so he could look outside a bit...he had such fun!
