..::Birth Announcement::..

This is such a bad picture that I'll repost it when I get a good one - but I'm excited at how they turned out. Only the grandparents will get one with flowers the rest will just be flat - I can't afford all that special shipping! The baby is a Magnolia stamp of course! Colored with ProMarkers and rock candy stickles on the wings. When I repost the picture I'll include a shot of the inside. I rolled the flowers from white cardstock then chalked them blue and sprayed with Perfect Pearls mist. They have a faint silver glimmer to them.

..::Monkeying Around::..

I am trying so hard to find the energy to make things. I NEED to make things, but the energy is missing or the pain is so intense I can't walk so I do a lot of sleeping or sitting. So ready to have my body back to myself! I just want to be mobile again! Should be another weekish and I will get to meet my littlest man...I'm excited and scared all at the same time. I've never had two little LITTLE ones at one time. Tyler and Trever are 3 1/2 years apart. Then of course Trever and Tobias are 10 years (still shocks me) apart! I will have 2 under 2!! I can do this right?

Here is a layout I've been working on for weeks (lol - so sad really but you do what you can when you can!) Tobias got this Monkey last Valentines Day and he loves him still! He's getting a new one today as soon as daddy goes and gets his treat and balloon!

Also adding a picture of Tobias' first shiner. He always fights with his little tykes stove and well...the stove won.

Hope you all are having great weather! I can't enjoy it like I want to but I'm rather loving the sunshine!!

..::Brent's Valentine Card::..

I'm suppose to be doing very little...that gets boring fast. So I decided creating has to be good for my health! I'll just sit in the chair with wheels and roll myself around the room - no walking right?  At any rate here is the card I made for Brent so far. It just feels unfinished to me...

The stamp is a Unity Stamp I picked up at Archivers. I just thought it was so cute! I used Glossy Accents on the boots, umbrella, and the little hearts. I think it's cute but missing something - so we'll see!!

..::Birthday Card::..

I love elephants! (and monkeys) so I could not resist making this card for a friend! (She should have it by now for sure so I figured it was safe to post)  I also love the little kid sayings stamps and when they were on sale at Hobby Lobby I couldn't resist that either!

..::Berry Sweet::..

Do you ever feel like if you don't create something you're going to stop breathing? I had felt like for the past two days and just could not get anything to work out! So last night at 4 am..FINALLY! a layout fell together.  I finished it up today with some butterflies and flowers. I'm pretty happy with the end result!

The green border paper is a cut file from Heather M's blog- if you've never been there...check it out. She does amazing work!! This is an intricate cut and does require sturdy paper!

I think this did a great job at capturing Tobias' love for strawberries! They are probably his favorite food. For Christmas this year my mom got him the cutest strawberry ornament to memorialize his strawberry love!

..::Catrina's::..

I can't believe I never posted these!! Tyler and I were reading about the Day of the Dead. It was interesting and we decided we wanted to make our own Catrina's. After I made it I had no idea what to do with it so I gave it to Bub. He hung it in his room. I made all the flowers on her head and the spider webs and spider are all cricut cuts. The skulls are also cricut cuts but I changed my eyes to rain drops and played with them a little to get the shape changed up. It was so much fun for a project just on a whim!

..::A few Tobias Christmas Photos::..

Poor baby was so overwhelmed by Christmas. In the first photo he's doing his normal morning routine and looking to see who left what out that he can hurry and get before we notice. It was a good 15 minutes before he even noticed the gifts behind him...In the second photo he's finally discovered the giant monkey that wasn't wrapped in an effort to help his curiosity. And in the third photo he's discovered a way to get out of doing all the work of unwrapping!

My poor tree has never looked so horrible. Tobias really did a number on it this year - from stealing and hiding ornaments (I just found one in his bed yesterday! WHAT?!) to stealing my wooden "cranberries" and making himself a pull cord for his big truck...To top the tree nightmare off - he took the tree down the day after Christmas...luckily he wasn't hurt but we put it away that night!
